DLT Registration Services

DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) registration is a process mandated by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) to regulate and monitor commercial communication, particularly SMS, in order to reduce spam and fraudulent activities. If you are a business or organization in India sending bulk or transactional SMS, you must register with a DLT platform.

Steps for DLT Registration:

Register with one of the telecom operator’s DLT platforms, such as:

  • Jio
  • Airtel

Headers are unique identifiers for your SMS, typically a 6-character alphanumeric code for promotional messages or a numeric code for transactional messages.

Register separate headers for promotional and transactional purposes.

4. Content Template Registration

Register pre-approved message templates for SMS content.

Templates must comply with TRAI guidelines to ensure messages are not misleading or spammy.
Consent Template (Optional for Promotional SMS)

For promotional messages, consent templates should be registered to capture customer consent for receiving promotional content.
